Who we are

Global Investment Strategies is an income planning coordination firm founded in 2009 and based in Tucson, Arizona. GIS operates as a Service Area Business rather than a traditional branch office. We use a concierge model, meeting clients at their homes, their offices, or professional shared suites throughout Southern Arizona.

We primarily serve Catalina Foothills, Oro Valley, Marana, and Greater Tucson.

How we are compensated

GIS operates as an independent brokerage rather than charging a percentage of assets under management. Our representatives are licensed to place insurance and annuity products from a range of carriers. When a client purchases a product through us, the issuing carrier pays a commission. Compensation varies by product and by carrier.

Being independent rather than captive to a single company means there is no proprietary product line we are required to place. It does not mean our compensation is neutral across every option, and you are entitled to ask how any specific recommendation is compensated. We will answer directly.
