If we work together
How the work actually runs
Three stages, in order. Nothing gets recommended before the stage in front of it is finished.
Discovery
We start with what you already have. The accounts, the documents, the professionals you work with, and what you are actually trying to accomplish. Most of the first conversation is us asking questions.
Design and modeling
Nothing is recommended before it has been modeled. We build the scenarios, test them against the situations that would break them, and show you what we found rather than a conclusion on its own.
Implementation and review
If it makes sense, execution runs in coordination with your CPA and your attorney rather than around them. It gets revisited after that, because the tax law and your circumstances both move.
There is no charge for the first conversation and no obligation after it. If what you have is already working, we will tell you that.

We take time to understand your current planning, the professionals you already work with, and what you are trying to accomplish. If it makes sense, we help you explore strategies in coordination with your CPA, your attorney, or whoever else is involved.
